The Triangle User Experience, or the tue:, is a developer community centered around user interface development for web applications. The tue: is also the Adobe Flex user group for the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area in North Carolina.
Topics will cover Adobe Flex, Air, server side technologies (Groovy, JAVA, PHP, Coldfusion, etc.) and human factors. Expanding on these topics each month the tue: hopes to provide its members with the tools to develop usable and technologically advanced web application user interfaces.

Design for Developers : Foundations for Practical Design
Presented By Dave Powell (University of North Carolina)
Do you work with the "creative" sorts? Do your designer friends scoff at your wayward attempts at design? Learn the foundations of "practical design". The mythical art of determining the appropriate level of design (and compliance) needed for your website. Learn how designers use visual hierarchy, color theory, and good old fashioned page layout techniques to make great looking web pages. Learn how to integrate designs using those other applications in Creative Suite you never use! Gather the knowledge to convert your projects from merely functional to intuitive and attractive in just a few minutes.
Open Forum
Discuss current Flex based projects you are working on.
The tue: is free of charge and open to the public.
